Videos leak gameplay for "Operation Firestorm" and new Battle Royale map.

Leaks about the gameplay in Battlefield 6 keep popping up. A new video now shows a familiar map from a previous title. In addition, a second video gives us a glimpse into the new Battle Royale gameplay.
Popular "Operation Firestorm" Map Returns
On August 30, 2025, a video leaked on YouTube showing 13 minutes of new gameplay on the well-known map “Operation Firestorm,” which first appeared in Battlefield 3 multiplayer. The map made a second appearance in the “Second Assault” DLC for Battlefield 4. Now it will apparently be playable in Battlefield 6 as well, but with a few design adjustments.
The "Operation Firestorm" map, set in the desert, is very spacious and features a large number of vehicles. In the center of the map, we find the well-known oil refinery.
The large battlefield remains unchanged, but the expansive outer areas appear to have been reduced in size and the teams' spawn points enlarged to prevent easy flanking and spawn trapping.
The map will also change dynamically thanks to the familiar destruction mechanics in Battlefield 6.
A Glimpse Of The New Battle Royale Map
Another video also leaked 9 minutes of gameplay showing the new Battle Royale map that is set to appear in the new mode of Battlefield 6.

The video shows a sprawling map on the coast. The gameplay starts right at the edge and shows how the player can both swim and dive. The player also has the ability to shoot while on the surface of the water.
In the next section, we see how a house is damaged and almost completely destroyed with a sledgehammer. This dynamic in battle royale mode could make the game even more interesting, because no two rounds will ever be the same. It's also a good way to combat campers who barricade themselves in a house, giving other players a better opportunity to attack them in the game.
The ladder gadget also appears to be useful. In the video, it is used both as a ramp and as a normal ladder, offering many possibilities for achieving an optimal position on the map.
What do you think of the maps? Are you looking forward to October when the game releases?
