New leaks for GTA 6 have made their way to the public, which have started speculation whether Dr. Dre and his music studio in GTA is going to play a bigger role. It seems that a new, unique music feature is in the works that GTA fans can use to customize their experience in Grand Theft Auto VI.

While Rockstar have kept the lid on pretty well regarding leaks, there has been some information that has managed to trickle out. One of those seems to be regarding an upcoming music feature that had initially been planned for GTA Online.

GTA 6: New Online Music Feature To Be Added

Of course, all information has to be taken with a grain of salt, since these are just rumors and leaks, but the addition of a new music feature doesn't seem too farfetched, especially when you look at the existing Record A Studios in GTA Online.

According to insider Tez2, Rockstar had some fun and unique content planned for Record A Studios, a fictional record studio and entertainment venue which many associate with Dr. Dre, who played a significant role in the storyline of the update which introduced the studio to the world of GTA.

Unfortunately, since it's been added, not too much has been done with the studio, but it seems that there were quite a few plans, which Rockstar shelved, keeping them to include in GTA 6 instead.

Rockstar had more content planned for Record A Studios, like uploading your custom mix or downloading others’ mixes, but that was shelved. It’s being cooked for VI anyways, and we’re a year away.

So this means that we could be getting a pretty cool and unique music feature where players can even share their own music amongst one another or create custom playlists.

Whether it's being added to the main storyline of GTA 6 though, or going to be a part of the upcoming online mode is yet to be determined, but Take-Two Interactive, Rockstar's parent company, has an earnings call scheduled for August 8, so we might find out some more GTA 6 news then.
