While she was popular before, her newfound "unexpected magical powers" suggest there's more depth to her character. Neve, a human mage who works as a private investigator in Minrathous, previously appeared in the comics Dragon Age: Tevinter Nights and Dragon Age: The Missing. She encounters the Inquisition while investigating the extremist Venatori group and assists in the pursuit of Solas, who has gone from ally to adversary since the Inquisition. Lucanis, a master assassin in the Antivan Crows, is confirmed to be a companion in "The Veilguard". Despite being the favored successor to his grandmother, Caterina, he has no desire for the role. His most recent assignment was to assassinate a Venatori agent in Tevinter, after which he was left for dead by the Crows. Bellara is a new character in "Dragon Age: The Veilguard", so details about her are limited to the reveal trailer and the information released by BioWare. She's a Veil Jumper, a group introduced in the comic book "Dragon Age: The Missing," whose mission was to protect the Arlathan Forest, where they crossed paths with Varric Tethras and Harding. Bellara seems to maintain an optimistic attitude even in the face of danger, as seen in the trailer, where she smiles despite being pulled back through an Eluvian Mirror portal by a vine-like creature. | © Bioware/EA
Emmrich, a familiar character from Dragon Age lore, makes his video game debut in Dragon Age: The Veilguard. Previously featured in Dragon Age: Tevinter Nights and the online short story "The Flame Eternal," Emmrich has already captured the hearts of fans. A member of the Mourning Watch, responsible for protecting the Great Necropolis and managing dark magic, Emmrich is an accomplished necromancer. Davrin is a fresh addition to the Dragon Age universe, giving us a new character to discover. A member of the Grey Wardens, a faction known since Origins for fighting the Darkspawn threat throughout Thedas, Davrin brings with him a legacy of exceptional warrior skills. A title like "The Dragon Hunter" definitely sets a high bar for coolness! Taash, a new addition to Dragon Age lore, seems to be a character that you would want to be best friends with right away. Associated with the Lords of Fortune, a guild of elite treasure hunters from Rivain, Taash embodies an adventurous and risk-taking spirit. While details about her are still lacking, her affiliation with the guild suggests that she has great skills in treasure hunting and dungeon exploration. Additionally, the fact that she is a Qunari associated with a group that can change their appearance or accent suggests that she may have some intriguing hidden talents for us to discover. | © Bioware/EA
