The team behind Escape from Duckov recently shared a teaser image that immediately caught the community’s attention. It shows one of the duck characters looking at a board filled with drawings and notes that look very familiar to fans of Escape from Tarkov.

Quack to the Future: Duckov Teases Its First Crossover

Recently the Escape from Duckov team shared a mysterious image on X featuring one of their duck characters staring at a whiteboard. On it were sketches that strongly reference two very familiar Escape from Tarkov bosses, Tagilla and Killa, known for their connected backstory.

Nothing is confirmed yet, but the tease was clearly intentional. The developers did not explain much and instead let the community connect the dots on their own. That alone was enough to get people talking about what a collaboration between these two very different games could look like.

"That's Tagilla! Collab with Escape from Tarkov!"

This Crossover Would Be Hilarious

Escape from Duckov is a top-down extraction shooter that takes the core ideas of the genre and wraps them in a goofy, duck-themed package. Underneath the humor, it still plays like a serious extraction game with loot runs and tension. Escape from Tarkov, on the other hand, is known for being extremely punishing and realistic.

The idea of Tarkov-inspired bosses or references showing up as ducks is already enough to sell the concept for many players, and that contrast is why a Tarkov crossover feels so funny. Some fans have already shared their hilarious opinions under the announcement:

"Can't wait for Duckilla to cave my head in."

What Content Could Happen

So far, there is no word on what the crossover would include if it happens. Maybe some cosmetics or weapon references. Some fans are hoping for duck versions of iconic Tarkov characters. It could also be something smaller, like Easter eggs or themed events.

Whatever it ends up being, the tease alone shows that the Duckov devs are not afraid to have fun with their success and poke at the genre that inspired them. Sometimes that is all it takes to get a community excited.

Would you want to see Tarkov-inspired content show up in Duckov, or should it stay a joke and nothing more? Let us know what you think in the comments.
