Epic Games was quite secretive about Fortnite Festival's newest song - and ended up rickrolling the community!

In a Festival-related April Fools' joke, Fortnite has rickrolled its players!
Fortnite's New Mystery Jam Track
Every week, Fortnite reveals (on average) three new Jam Tracks that are:
- Available as gameplay in the Fortnite Festival mode
- Available as lobby music
- Available as a Jam Track in the emote wheel
- Available in certain game modes, e.g. the car radio in Battle Royale and the jukebox in Lego Fortnite Odyssey
Except this week, they only revealed two out of three tracks and called one of them a "mystery track":

This had people speculating, and some commenters already had a hunch:
man whatever this new track is tonight bad or good! I can tell you that I’m never gonna give you up. festival I love you! - @Sigh999_ on X
If the mystery jam track is "Never Gonna Give You Up" by Rick Astley, I will eat my bedside table. - @RealSyXXCell on X
Track Reveal
As the new track was added with the Item Shop update, Fortnite Festival posted on X:
Oh, we know the Main Stage setlist hates to see us comin' tonight... pic.twitter.com/c1zv93i1pj

Reactions were...mixed (but when aren't they in the Fortnite community?):
We wanted System of a Down not this - @greatestbkfacts on X
the joke is dead bro 😭🙏 - @Ynot4flowers on X
GOATs for this! 🐐🔥 We will be buying! - @MrJokerCPoC on X
This is goated. Absolutely brilliant song choice for this day. Love to see the haters hate on this amazing track. I am ECSTATIC and may actually purchase my first jam track now (I'm not kidding, not even a little bit) - @iamthecrux on X
But come on, what else was this Fortnite mode supposed to do on April Fools' Day? Other songs can be added anytime, but this was the perfect timing for a troll song like Never Gonna Give You Up (...never gonna let you down - do you also hear it in your head?)
What's your opinion on Fortnite Festival's mystery song prank, was it funny or lame? What other songs would you like to be added to the game?
