Based on new insider information, some fans believe that GTA 6 will be released even later than planned.
Do you remember the moment the first trailer for GTA 6 dropped? Euphoria, goosebumps, you know the drill. Many were sure this was going to be huge. People planned their vacations around it. There were even rumors online that men were timing their partners’ pregnancies so they could go on parental leave when the game released… and then?
Nothing but delays.
GTA 6: More Delays?
By now, we’re all sitting disillusioned in front of our laptops and phones, scrolling through news and once again reading the word that has become a permanent part of the GTA vocabulary: “delay.” GTA 6 is being postponed yet again.
Jason Schreier and Bloomberg are once more reporting as insiders that not all features are finished yet and that the team is still tinkering with missions. In principle, there is still enough time until the currently announced release date. Even so, voices are already growing louder again, talking about yet another delay.
But honestly – does anyone even care anymore?
Sure, officially there are dates and timeframes. But as a long-time Rockstar fan, you know: these numbers are more like… “suggestions.” GTA 6 doesn’t come out when the calendar says so, it comes out when Rockstar decides it’s worthy of being released. And that can take a while. A long while.
Acceptance As A Gamer Patch?
Yes, insiders are debating. Some say the game is almost finished, others talk about missions still being built and features that are still missing. Fans on Reddit are already betting on whether we’ll get another trailer before release or just another delay.
With series like Red Dead Redemption or GTA itself, Rockstar has already shown us that the long wait can be worth it, and there isn’t really much left for fans to do except wait and hope, and that's getting boring really fast.
Most people have mentally prepared themselves for the idea that they might not play GTA 6 next year, maybe not even the year after, but sometime eventually… probably after the release of GTA 7…
