Marvel Wants To Bring Back Two Classic Games

Following the success of Deadpool X Wolverine, there are hopes that we'll see the return of the 2013 Deadpool game and a Marvel RPG.

According to reliable gaming insider Nick Baker from the XboxEra Podcast, Microsoft are working on re-releasing two video games, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance and Deadpool.

Why Do They Need Re-Releasing?

Activision lost its Marvel licensing rights in 2016, which means players aren't currently able to buy Marvel: Ultimate Alliance or Deadpool. Now that Microsoft own Activision, they want to resolve this issue.

Deadpool (2013) is a third persons action game, similar to Devil May Cry, it's all about making cool combos and unlocking new weapons to do even cooler and longer combos.

Marvel: Ultimate Alliance (2006) is a top-down RPG, where you can build your own team from a variety of Marvels superheroes to defeat Dr. Doom (and of course, save the world).

The games are not currently available digitally or in a physical version due to licensing issues between Marvel and Activision. However, this could change now that Microsoft is working on a deal with Marvel.

The Deadpool X Wolverine Movie was a hit. It would be a mistake not to make these games available to buyers again.
