At Gamescom 2024, fans are getting more and more information about the new Monster Hunter game, and the developers have finally delivered on a long-awaited feature for the player.

Guys In Skimpy Shorts & Gals In Beefy Armor

The Monster Hunter franchise previously had gender-restricted armor; female characters had to wear tight-fitting outfits, and male characters had to wear bulky armor. But in the upcoming game, gender is irrelevant, we can rock whatever clothes we want!

During the Gamescom 2024 Monster Hunter Wilds developer stream, Series Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto announced:

I’m happy to confirm that in Monster Hunter Wilds, there’s no more male and female armor. All characters can wear any gear.

The new feature lets you craft armor for both male and female characters and equip it to your character, regardless of the gender you've chosen at the start of your journey.

This feature helps players connect with their characters more deeply thanks to its more personalized approach. What a nice little feature for more individualization.
