After the game was already released for the Nintendo Switch in the beginning of the year, the dungeon RPG Shiren the Wanderer: The Mystery Dungeon of Serpentcoil Island will launch for PC via Steam on December 11.

Shiren and Koppa

Shiren the Wanderer and his talking ferret partner Koppa receive a vision. In it, a girl in a land far away is in distress. The two heroes do not waste a single moment and make their way to the mysterious Serpentcoil Island.

But they are not alone. Adventurers and warriors from all over the world are interested in rumors about lost pirate gold hidden in the depths of the Island while at the same time a powerful monster with a fantastic treasure waits at its highest mountain peak.

Mystery Dungeon and Online Rescue

In the game's Mystery Dungeon you will be confronted with a new layout, new friends and new enemies every single time. It’s up to you to be prepared and adapt to unexpected challenges, while switching your strategy on the spot.

A bunch of very convenient features are waiting. Important functions like a hotbar to easily access multiple projectiles and magic staves lead to a smoother, more enjoyable gaming experience.

And in case a player should fail and collapse in the middle of their dungeon, they can call other players online to rescue them and pick up their adventure where they left off without losing any progress.

As announced by developer Spike Chunsoft Shiren the Wanderer: The Mystery Dungeon of Serpentcoil Island will launch via Steam on December 11 for $39.99.

While the base game features all the updates that have been released for the Switch version for free, the DLC “Plus Pack” will be available for $14.99. In addition, the digital soundtrack is available for $24.99, featuring 109 tracks to a total of over 330 minutes.
