The game looks absolutely stunning from the trailer and after a 15-year wait fans are understandably excited. Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl Trailer Shows Off Multiple New Locations In The Zone

Multiple locations and anomalies were shown off in the new Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl trailer, which was also voiced completely in Ukrainian, a nod to the developer's home country. The subtitle of the game had already been changed to the Ukrainian "Chornobyl" a while ago, away from the previous Russian spelling "Chernobyl".

Characters & Anomalies

But enough history and linguistics lessons, let's get into the meat of this trailer and what fans can expect from this long-awaited Stalker sequel. There are multiple familiar faces sprinkled in throughout the trailer, with Skif, the main character, leading the viewer into the Zone. Not just that, but characters like Owl from Call of Pripyat will make an appearance, and we get to see some old school Controllers as well in Heart of Chernobyl.

Of course, there are also quite a lot of human enemies we get to see as well with multiple different types of combat ranging from gun fights, as well as hand-to-hand shown in the trailer, each looking clean and quite fun.

New & Old Locations

Throughout the trailer, we get to see urban areas with tall buildings, as well as thick woodlands. There are also refuge areas shown in the trailer where people aren't trying to kill Skif for once. Here, players will likely be able to trade and sell weapons and equipment.

Players will likely get to explore old locations throughout the Zone, with places like Skadovsk, Dark Valley and the Chornobyl NPP being seen throughout the trailer. Of course, there are also some new locations to explore as well, but it'll be so exciting to get to see everything once more with insane graphics thanks to Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl being made with Unreal Engine 5.

Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl Release Date Revealed
