Stranger Things has returned to Dead by Daylight with a brand new chapter of content - fans of both the horror game and the hit Netflix series have plenty to look forward to.
Dead by Daylight is back in Stranger Things mode, and this time it’s bringing some serious chaos. Chapter 2 drops Vecna as a new killer, and this isn’t the old D&D-inspired version we’ve seen before. This Vecna, straight out of the show, can manipulate the environment with Upside Down powers and makes surviving in the Fog even more intense.
Eleven And Dustin Join The Survivors
On the survivor side, we finally get Eleven and Dustin. Eleven is all about sensing danger and keeping her team alive, while Dustin is the cheeky support guy who actually makes teamwork feel meaningful. The chapter also packs some legendary outfits for Eddie and Robin, which is always a fun touch if you like showing off your outfit while running from a killer.
Sneak Peek In The Public Test Build
The chapter went live in the Public Test Build on PC a bit earlier this month, so some people have already had a sneak peek at the new perks, killer abilities, and the map updates. For anyone who already owns Dead by Daylight and wants to try it out, the test servers are available until January 13. To access them, right-click on the game, go to Properties, select Betas, and choose the test server from the list. Full release hits all platforms on January 27, 2026, so it’s just around the corner.
Honestly, it’s a great mix for anyone who loves both the show and the game. Vecna actually feels threatening, and playing as Eleven or Dustin makes the trials feel a little more cinematic than usual.
