The newest Genshin Impact event is kind of controversial within the community. Some players love it, others hate it, and it's all because of the characters.

It's normal that not every event is loved by all players, but the newest event 'Triumphant Frenzy' has the community split, with many players wondering why they're even pulling for specific characters and spending time and effort in building them.

The new event 'Triumphant Frenzy' is just a fun small combat event in Genshin Impact. By using specific characters and creating certain reactions, more damage will be stacked. There is also a limited amount of times players can use the same characters during a run.

It sounds simple enough, right? Well, there is one downside that has a lot of players frustrated. The event is purely played with trial characters. These often have worse stats than those than characters' players actually own, as well as weaker weapons as well.

So, beating the hardest level during the event could be a challenge for some players, which has them pretty frustrated. Another part of the community though likes the fact that they can try out other characters they themselves might not own.

The event forces players to make strategic decisions based on the characters available to them instead of solely relying on their own OP characters. So some players are just saying it's a "skill issue" when others complain about not being able to complete the hardest level.

Most players just figure that it's a small event for free primogems, but completionsists might be pissed off. Overall, there is quite a stir within the community all because of one small event in the game.
