The DCEU has been in a rough spot as far as Hollywood are concerned, and the upcoming Superman movie will show if James Gunn can save the franchise. But, in the gaming world, the universe is more alive than ever, thanks to icons like Batman, Wonder Woman and the Green Lantern.

As a recently opened job position shows, WB Games Montréal is looking for a Senior Producer to work on “AAA titles set in the DC Comic Universe”. The requirements of the job include overseeing a single project and all of its development phases from the conceptual stage until its release:

As a Senior Producer, you will oversee all phases and teams of development of a single project, from the concept phase through its release. You will manage a large part of the internal development teams to identify risk, define processes, establish schedules, define roles and responsibilities, make sure budgets and resources are spent to high ROI and collaborate with directors and leads on establishing goals and deliverables.

The project might be something completely new and so far undisclosed, but looking into the history of WB Games Montréal, there is a huge chance that this new title is related to the Batman franchise. Before, the studio was working on Batman: Arkham Origins and Gotham Knights. And even though the latter received mixed reviews on Steam, the reception all in all was still positive enough to justify further titles.

What do you think about this DC news? And what would you want from a new Batman game?
