Bad news first: As of now, there is no official release date of the return of Flappy Bird. The announcement of the new owners over their official website and the trailer just said "coming soon"
The good news: New content and new skins are waiting for us in the re-release. On the website, the new developer teased:
- Flappy Birds Rivals: Play against 99 other players
- Flappy Birds ez mode: An easier mode for beginners
- Flappy Birds basketball: Throw your Flappy Birds though hoops
The trailer on YouTube shows us also an overworld similar to the overworld from Candy Crush with different levels to complete.
If and how they monetize this game is unknown, but we look forward to being frustrated thanks to a little, cute bird after 10 years. Feeling old yet?
