If you want to play Tekken 8 online, you should change one setting to make the gameplay feel smoother.

Tekken 8 is out now and seems to go down very well with critics and fans alike. However, the game's online mode has been experiencing some issues around launch.
Outside of server issues, changing one setting in the options menu can also improve your experience with the game.
Every Tekken 8 Player Should Change The Rollback Setting
Shoutout to @Rooflemonger for pointing this out on Twitter/X. If you go to the Game Option Settings, scroll down to find the Rollback Setting. They recommend setting it to “Prioritize Response” and we wholeheartedly agree with that.

go to game option settings
change rollback setting to "prioritize response"

Enabling this setting will increase input responsiveness and prioritize that over fluid animations, in case you should experience rollback. Prioritizing inputs over animations felt a lot better for us when playing the game (and when servers actually worked).
However, it’s worth emphasizing that this will end up being a subjective thing as well. Try both out to make sure which one will be better. Either way, definitely don’t miss out on the Rollback Setting.
