FURIA now faces LØS for a direct spot in the Swiss Stage.
FURIA are the final team to qualify for Worlds 2026. In the lower-bracket final of the CBLOL Playoffs, they swept LOUD 3-0 to reach the Grand Final against LØS. Because Brazil has two Worlds slots this year, FURIA’s ticket is now secured – the only remaining question is whether they start directly in the Swiss Stage or have to go through the Play-In first.
FURIA Give LOUD No Room
The 3-0 scoreline looks dominant on paper – and for most of the series, it was. FURIA controlled the matchup and rarely allowed LOUD to dictate the pace for long. Only Game 2 became a serious challenge, as LOUD built a significant early advantage but failed to convert it into a win.
FURIA stayed composed, found their way back into the game and completed the comeback. That second win was probably the decisive moment of the series. Instead of LOUD tying things up at 1-1 and building momentum, FURIA moved to match point and then finished the sweep in Game 3.
For LOUD, the season ends in disappointing fashion. The organization once again reached the late stages of the CBLOL Playoffs, but this time misses both the final and Worlds. Third place is not enough in 2026, as only the two finalists represent Brazil internationally.
FURIA Crown a Strong International Year
For FURIA, Worlds qualification is the latest highlight in a season where the team has already represented Brazil multiple times internationally. In 2026, FURIA appeared at the Americas Cup, MSI and the Esports World Cup. Now the biggest tournament of the year is added to that list.
That makes the qualification even more impressive. FURIA did not simply stumble through the playoffs. Across the entire year, the team has shown that it belongs among Brazil’s absolute best.
FURIA had already reached the top of the CBLOL in Split 1, defeating LØS 3-1 in the final. Now the same matchup returns – this time with even bigger consequences.
The Final Against LØS Is About More Than the CBLOL Title
The Grand Final on October 10 will not only decide the Brazilian champion. The winner qualifies directly for the Worlds Swiss Stage, while the runner-up is sent to the Play-In.
That makes the stakes very clear. Both teams are qualified, but seed one is extremely valuable. The new Play-In format is much harsher than in previous years because only one team advances.
Brazil’s second seed will compete against the third seeds from the LEC, LCS and LCP. For the CBLOL, losing the final therefore does not just mean a lower seed – it creates a genuine risk of elimination before the Swiss Stage even begins.
That is why the final could matter almost as much as qualification itself for FURIA. Direct Swiss entry means fewer series and no chance of being knocked out before the true Main Event starts.
The Worlds Field Is Now Complete
With FURIA’s victory, the final open Worlds ticket has been claimed. Regional qualification is now complete, with only individual seeding questions still left to settle – most notably which Brazilian team will start directly in the Swiss Stage.
The Swiss Stage begins on October 23 in Allen, Texas. Riot’s 2026 field once again brings together the strongest teams from the LCK, LPL, LEC, LCS, LCP and CBLOL.
Brazil’s situation is particularly interesting. With two Worlds slots, the region has more international representation than in many previous years. LØS and FURIA now both have the chance to prove that the CBLOL can offer more than huge audiences and passionate fans – it can compete as well.
FURIA’s Work Is Not Finished Yet
FURIA have completed the most important step: they are going to Worlds.
Now the goal is to secure the best possible path. The rematch against LØS offers a chance to win the CBLOL title and, most importantly, claim direct entry into the Swiss Stage.
The sweep against LOUD was a strong statement. FURIA looked stable, controlled and mentally strong enough to recover even from a difficult Game 2.
And maybe that is the biggest takeaway before the final: FURIA have not only become the last team to qualify for Worlds. They are also entering Brazil’s final domestic battle with real momentum.
