In the recent League of Legends Skarner theme video, eagle-eyed fans spotted a new and improved look for Malphite.
Malphite is a big and giant rock. We all know and love the League of Legends champion for his simplicity, but his in-game model is just as simple as his play style, and that has some fans wondering whether the big rock is ever going to get an upgrade.
Well, in a recent video, some fans have spotted a new look for Malphite and are wondering whether the champion is finally going to be getting his much-deserved visual upgrade.
League of Legends: Malphite Visual Update Spotted
Skarner's Visual and Gameplay Update is going to release with LoL Patch 14.7. To introduce the new and improved Brackern to the world, Riot posted a short Skarner theme video and in this video, while showcasing his new AoE ultimate, players also clearly spotted Malphite getting immobilized.
Now, the thing with the video is that Malphite looks like himself, but at the same time doesn't. His frame and model look much, much better than normal, which has players believing that the champion is going to be getting some form of visual update soon.
This isn't the first time that introduction videos for new champions or champion VGU's by Riot have "leaked" upcoming visual changes. The same was done for Orianna, as well as Brand, who both had some minor adjustments done to improve visual clarity.
Therefore, it really isn't out of the question to think that Malphite could also be getting a visual update of some sort. He would certainly be in need of one. For now, though, this is all just speculation and Riot have not confirmed whether Malphite is in the running for a visual update or not.
