Star Wars Voice Actor Dies at Age 64

Legendary voice actor Tom Kane passed away leaving us with only memories of his passionated work.

Tom Kane might was one of the persons that shaped your memories in some way without you even noticing. Best known for the voice of Master Yoda in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, passed away at age 64 on Monday at a hospital in Kansas City, Missouri due to complications after suffering a stroke in 2020.

The legendary voice actor gave life to very well known characters throughout the genre of animated series, HIM and Prof. Utonium in Powerpuff Girls, Lord Monkey Fist in Kim Possible and even was heard in video games like Call Of Duty. His first time taking over Yoda was in a video game released in 1999.

He first got into voice acting when he was 15 advertising for local companies while being a high school student. He graduated from the University of Kansas in 1984 and shortly after began working for Lucasfilm.

He is survived by his loving wife and nine children, of whom six were adopted and countless of memories he made throughout the years for all of us.
