Uproar in Giswil: Swiss resident racially abuses Asian Kick streamer sukasblood live on camera.
The municipality of Giswil in the Swiss canton of Obwalden is rather quaint, home to roughly 4,000 residents. For streamer sukasblood, better known as Don, it seemed like the ideal scenic contrast to his urban home base of Singapore. Instead, a wrong turn turned into a disastrous detour, ending not only with a tipped-over motorcycle but with an overt racial slur caught live on stream.
An incident ruins Don's tour
The 37-year-old creator's ambitious motorcycle journey across Europe was supposed to be a showcase highlight for his Kick community. A routine navigation error quickly spiraled into a confrontation that left viewers stunned.
Heading toward Interlaken, Don missed an exit. Searching for a spot to turn around and urgently looking for a restroom, he inadvertently rolled onto a restricted private path. When he set the bike down on a grass meadow, the soft soil gave way under the kickstand, sending the heavy touring machine crashing sideways onto the turf.
Unable to lift the fully laden adventure bike on his own, Don found himself stranded on the lawn. When an elderly local approached, it initially looked like a stroke of good luck. Instead of lending a hand, the landowner immediately began berating the traveler.
Resident wishes a broken motorcycle on him
Stream archives show the resident marching up to Don, demanding to know if he ignored the posted private property signs. When Don readily admitted the mistake and tried de-escalating, the confrontation took an ugly turn.
The resident pulled his eyes back into slants and stuck out his tongue, aiming an explicit, derogatory gesture directly at the Asian creator. When Don called him out for the blatant racism, the man doubled down, snapping, "I hope your motorcycle is broken," before flatly refusing to help him lift the bike back upright.
While Don had strayed onto private land, the local's reaction sparked an immediate wave of public fury. Prominent Swiss comedian Ahmet Bilge shared the clip across Instagram, slamming the behavior as "disgusting and racist" and galvanizing support behind the stranded creator.
The blowback reached institutional levels when Switzerland's Federal Commission against Racism (EKR) intervened, officially classifying the recorded altercation as "quite obviously" racist. In a subsequent interview with local press, the resident conceded that his actions were "thoughtless," yet he denied harboring racist intent and steadfastly refuses to issue an apology to Don.
