The masked streamer “Licence” causes chaos in Times Square, New York, while fleeing from the police.
Licence is known for his streams and YouTube videos, driving fast cars and tearing up the streets as if he were a character from GTA 6. He usually races recklessly through traffic, trying not to get caught by the police.
In his videos, he is often accompanied by his friends and guests – including this time, when Licence flees from the police in the middle of New York City.
A Danger To Himself – And Others
In August, Licence streams as usual with several friends from his car as they drive through New York City. They are located right in Times Square, one of the busiest places in the world, with lots of pedestrians and vehicles. This time, the stream was recorded and shared live by Shangel, who was riding in the back seat.
After taking photos with some people passing by, they noticed some police officers nearby and became uneasy. As they continued driving, three police vehicles approached from different directions, presumably to surround the vehicle and possibly even arrest Licence.
However, the YouTuber refused to stop, let alone get out of the car, whereupon the police tried to stop the car and punched it with their fists. Licence seemed unaffected and instead hit the gas pedal, running over one of the police officers' feet, according to the NYPD.
Shangel Denies Allegations, Licence Keeps A Low Profile
In a TikTok video, Shangel commented on the incident, claiming that they allegedly did not hit anything and did not run over a police officer's foot.
It appears that Licence has not been arrested. However, the fact that he always wears a mask to hide his identity may suggest that he is more afraid of being arrested than he admits.
