The teaser for "A Minecraft Movie" has been released, and first impressions are poor. Brace yourselves for a horror show. The official release date of A Minecraft Movie will be on April 4, 2025.

The teaser starts with a portal that a group of four take to get into the world of Minecraft, and it goes downhill rapidly from there. The only big star in this group is Jason Momoa (known for his role as Aquaman) who is wearing an ugly 80s inspired costume.
The first thing that the group encounters is a pink Minecraft sheep, and it represents everything wrong with the film's general aesthetic.
For some reason, the director decided to go with live-action actors in a fully CGI world, and it looks hideous.
At the end of the teaser, we discover that Steve is played by Jack Black and looks like ... well, Jack Black. The only thing that is similar to the game is the blue shirt.
