Netflix has just dropped another teaser trailer for Squid Game season 2, revealing the final release date and even giving us a hint towards season 3.
Squid Game Season 2 Release Date
Squid Game season 2 is finally coming to Netflix on December 26, 2024. This was just announced by Netflix in a short teaser trailer, showing Squid Game participants competing in a run with guards, standing in the background. Then, as the camera zoomed in on the Front Man, he said the following:
"It's been three years. Do you want to play again?"
Absolutely yes, we do!
Squid Game Season 3 Release Year Announced
To our surprise, the teaser didn't just highlight the second season. Netflix also revealed that the final season, likely season 3, will be released just a year later in 2025. After waiting around three years for season 2, we assumed the third season would follow the same pattern. Fortunately, Netflix had other plans!
