Netflix' new hit show Nobody Wants This is far from over, much to the joy of fans.
All the girls who watched OC California back in the day were probably screaming with joy when Adam Brody, best known for his role as Seth Cohen in the OC, returned to our screens all grown up. As the rabbi Noah, he made sure watchers would swoon over the romance with Joanne, played by Kristen Bell – and swoon we did. And we will again!

Love is hard enough as it is, but against all odds, Noah and Joanne made it work – who cares about fundamental outlooks on life if you have the walking, talking green flag Noah to fall for? Yeah, I thought so.
At the end of the first season, they still have some obstacles to overcome, but all things considered, the two newfound sweethearts seem to be on the right track after sharing a (long overdue, I might add) kiss.
If the two of them actually have a future together and how they are going to sail the rough seas of their seemingly incompatible lifestyles won't be a thing left to fans' imagination, thankfully: Netflix already renewed the show for a second season to further explore the love story. Mazel tov!

What to expect from Nobody Wants This Season 2
A grand gesture of love is one thing, the aftermath is another: Joanne and Noah still have some issues to solve, so the second season of Nobody Wants This has lots of plot threads to follow and explore.
Two obstacles come to mind immediately: season 2 will probably focus on Joanne's decision to either convert to Judaism or how Noah will deal with it if she can't bring herself to do it. Also, there's the whole mess that is Noah's familiy's opinion of Joanne, which is, to put it lightly, not the very best. I know, hate is a strong word, but there's really no better way to put it...
Some changes behind the scenes of Nobody Wants This
For season 2, we'll of course expect the cast to return, including Adam Brody, Kristen Bell, Jackie Tohn (Esther) and Timothy Simons (Sasha). Behind the scenes, there are some shifts, though.
The "real Joanne" Erin Foster will shift focus and become executive producer for the show, alongside Kristen Bell and Steve Leviatan, the mastermind behind Modern Family. New showrunners will be Jenni Konner (Girls) and Bruce Eric Kaplan (Six Feet Under).
