The Disney+ price hike be damned – it's time for some good news. Percy Jackson and the Olympians has officially been renewed for season 2.
Book fans will be especially happy with the news, as Disney+ managed to be way more book accurate with their show than the movies from a few years back, and even the smaller changes have been author-approved.
With seven books in total telling Percy's story, we've got more than enough source material to cover for a long-running show. By the looks of it, that's exactly what it's going to be.

Disney is as busy as ever and along with some other announcements like Frozen 3, Percy's story shall continue as well.
First reported by Variety, the call to continue the adaptation was the only one that really made sense. The reviews of Percy Jackson and the Olympians' first season were basically through the roof. The show looked absolutely gorgeous and, let's be honest here, who doesn't love a good story about friendships and overcoming hardships?
