The popular summer romance does not end with the third season!
The Summer I Turned Pretty is a romantic coming-of-age series based on the novel by Jenny Han. It follows a teenage girl named Belly spending her summer at a beach house with her family and friends. Soon, love, heartbreak, and self-discovery unfold over one unforgettable summer.
The third and final season of the young adult hit series started July 16, 2025, with weekly episodes being released.
But we don’t have to say goodbye to Belly just yet.
Amazon Prime Video has officially confirmed a conclusion movie, written by Jenny Han herself, following the series finale of The Summer I Turned Pretty. The series finale red carpet in Paris served as the backdrop for the announcement.

What We Know So Far
The production will be made by Amazon MGM Studios, thus it is believed that the movie will be released on Prime Video, just like the series did.
Nothing specific about the plot has been revealed yet, what we do know though, is that the story will tie in with the plot of season 3.
