When Will the New Agent Be Revealed?
The new Agent will be revealed on August 23 during VCT Champions 2024. What fantastic news:
According to a few leakers, the new Agent will be an Initiator, a role designed to help the team by disrupting enemies and revealing their positions. Some players were hoping for a Sentinel, as there are currently more of every other role in the game. But the last Initiator added was Gekko, who all the way back in March 2023.
The Agent's design elements—thorns, roses, metal, and hourglasses—provide clues about their abilities. The Agent could have abilities that inflict slowness and damage effects on opponents, inspired by the roses' thorns. While the hourglass motif suggests a potential for time manipulation.
