Fnatic’s Dota 2 squad switched a player yesterday as Marc Polo Luis "Raven" Fausto returned and replaced Nuengnara ‘23savage’ Teeramah.

Fnatic were definitely not lacking results in the past few months as their Dota 2 team managed to take multiple titles. The squad took first place in DOTA Summit 12, ESL One LA 2020 Online: SEA, BTS Pro Series: SEA, ESL One Birmingham 2020 Online: SEA and World E-sports Legendary League. That’s five trophies for the past 4 months. Quite impressive. Most recently the team placed third at BTS Pro Series Season 2: SEA and second at ONE Esports Dota 2 SEA League. In the latter Fnatic lost to Geek Fam in the grand finals.

Did that break the camel’s back or were there other issues in the team? We’re not entirely sure, but Marc Polo Luis "Raven" Fausto who played for Geek Fam only a few days ago is now back to Fnatic. The last time Raven played for Fnatic was in 2016 and it was only for two months. The player is mostly known for his time on TNC Pro Team where he managed to find great success.

In order to make space for Raven, someone had to leave Fnatic and it was no other than Nuengnara “23savage” Teeramah. He had an excellent performance on the team and is also one of the few players worldwide to reach 11 000 MMR.

23savage hasn’t yet announced his future plans, but we’re sure that he’ll be picked up by another organization. Geek Fam are now missing one since Raven left, so who knows maybe the two players will end up just switching places.

After the roster changes The full Fnatic line up in order of positions is as follows:

  • Marc Polo Luis "Raven" Fausto
  • Kam "Moon" Boon Seng
  • Daryl Koh "iceiceice" Pei Xiang
  • Djardel Jicko B. "DJ" Mampusti
  • Anucha "Jabz" Jirawong

Fnatic Dota 2 team manager Eric "Reinnnn" Khor commented on the changes:

In our pursuit to build a Southeast Asian super team and continue dominating the region, I welcome for the second time, SEA's most promising carry into our roster. He will bring a new dimension to the team and add some firepower to our already stacked roster.I would also like to take this opportunity to thank 23savage for all his effort and contribution for us the past year. I am very happy to celebrate you reaching 11k MMR during your stint with us. I wish you the best of luck and I am sure we will meet each other in many LANs in the future.

With Raven back on the squad, Fnatic will probably continue to be the top team in the region.
