Psyonix have introduced a brand-new feature to Rocket League's competitive mode in Update 2.07. It's not a particularly major change, but will certainly please a lot of fans. In addition, they are doing some work on their back-end. Here are the details.

What's in Rocket League Update 2.07?

Rocket League's latest update introduces a brand-new feature to the game, as well as PsyNet upgrades. The aforementioned big new feature is a Play Again Button in the competitive post-match screen. This is a pretty major change, allowing you to ask the game to automatically search for additional Competitive Playlists.

That being said, Rocket League Update 2.07 does not only introduce the Play Again Button, but also a few PsyNet Upgrades. These upgrades focus on how in-game items and player transactions are stored within the PsyNet infrastructure. This will have no noticeable impact on player experience, but will be important in the backend for how these systems work.

Last week saw the release of Rocket League Update 2.06, which brought Free Play Ball Control to the game's training mode. This was a pretty big deal for console players, and a much bigger addition than v2.07's Play Again Button.

Psyonix's latest Rocket League Update doesn't really add much to the experience, and also doesn't introduce any bug fixes. When can we expect some significant changes to Rocket League? We'll have to wait and see.
