OGA Dota Pit’s third season made a return to Europe/CIS where some of the best teams from the two regions clashed. As usual, Team Secret came out on top.

The OGA Dota Pit Season 3 Europe/CIS ended this Saturday. The results are exactly what most of us already expected as Team Secret grabbed yet another title. Team Secret have been on a serious win streak over the last few months and OGA Dota PIT Season 3 gave them their eighth victory in a row.

Previously, Secret won in the OMEGA League Europe Immortal Division, BEYOND EPIC, BLAST Bounty Hunt, and more. By the looks of it, none of the other top Dota 2 organizations in Europe can match Team Secret. With the global pandemic still preventing international play, it’ll be some time before we see a serious challenger to Clement “Puppey” Ivanov and his squad.

OGA Dota PIT Season 3 Europe/CIS

Straight up from the start Team Secret were the favorite to take the champion’s title in the event. It’s important to note that Nigma and OG were both playing with stand-ins for the duration of the event as Kuroky and Topson skipped it. The biggest challenge for Team Secret proved to be no other than Virtus.pro Prodigy. The secondary roster of the Russian powerhouse was also playing with two stand-ins but that didn’t prevent their amazing performance. VP.Prodigy were the only team to take a game off Secret throughout the entire event. Prodigy were knocked down to the lower bracket by Secret after the first series, but they managed to recover. The Russian team made it to the grand finals after defeating Team Liquid, Natus Vincere and Alliance.

The games in the finals didn’t go much different than any other event with Secret in it. Puppey’s team stomped the opposition after just three games, giving us the final score of 3-0 in favor of Secret.

Despite that, Virtus.pro should be proud of their team’s performance. The secondary team might be well on its way of becoming the main one. VP benched their entire Dota 2 roster last week and that left a lot of speculation going around. Will they be making some roster changes? Will we see a brand-new team or will it be just VP.Prodigy taking the place of their bigger brothers.

For their first-place finish, Secret claimed over $70,000 in prize money and we’re still wondering who could even stop them at this point? Share your opinion on our Facebook page!
