Michael "shroud" Grzesiek is by far one of the most popular video game players. At the time of writing, he is a Mixer Partner and he is representing the brand on Mixer. This week in our two-part series, you will find all there is about shroud, so do not miss out@

Shroud's early career – how did it all start?

Michael started gaming at a very young age. He found his passion in the FPS titles, Counter-Strike in particular. However, the Polish-Canadian Mixer streamer found his true passion in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. It did not take him long to achieve success with Cloud9.

His professional CS:GO career kickstarted in 2013 when he joined Slow Motion. It did not take him long to showcase his incredible aiming and movement skills. Back in 2014, Cloud9 came calling and the young player going by the alias of "shroud" answered the call.

He represented the North America-based esports organization before retiring from the professional scene in order to pursue his dream of becoming the best streamer.

Ever since he retired, he has lived up to the title of the “best aimer ever”. The greatest thing about it is that Michael is showcasing his incredible gift among various titles such as CS:GO, PUBG, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, Rainbow Six Siege, Apex, Valorant and many other first-person shooters.

Shroud’s social media channels and followers

There is no denying that shroud is one of the most popular figures in the entire esports and gaming industry. Naturally, his following is through the roof. From our perspective, he is a nice guy that deserves all the fame and glory he is getting. For a gamer, having over 6 million subscribers is serious business. On top of that, he acquired over 1 million followers across all other social media sites he is active on. This by itself says a lot about how popular shroud really is.

Shroud's personal life and some things you probably didn't know

Did you know that shroud was able to accumulate a net worth of over $5 million? This number ranks him high on the list of most paid athletes that play video games. When it comes to his career earnings from events, they are not that high, roughly around $200,000. As you can see, being a top-tier streamer is highly profitable.

In total, Michael generated around 700 million total views on YouTube and has been active only since 2014.

Shroud is a relatively short guy. According to sources, he is only 168cm (5"6') tall.

Michael has been involved in quite a few romantic relationships. Prior to his current girlfriend, hewas in a relationship with Jessica Rago. His current girlfriend, Hannah “Bnans” Kennedy is a Twitch streamer with over 200,000 followers.

Madrinas is shroud’s favorite coffee. On top of that, he loves eating strawberries.

He owns a husky called Troy. The Office is his favorite TV-show. At the time of writing, he has watched it 8 times.

Did you know that Michale was involved in a crash? He hit the brakes too hard on his scooter and flew over 4 meters straight into the asphalt. He had a lot of scratches. On top of that, he injured his left arm and shoulder.
