Call of Duty has a vibrant competitive scene. The Call of Duty League is where the best players fight to see who can take home a championship ring every year. Today we look at the five best CoD players of all time.

Call of Duty is one of the most popular games in the world and continues to delight players every year. Only a month ago, the Call of Duty League Championship 2020 took place, in which Dallas Empire was able to secure victory and a world championship ring. With a total of $4,600,000 in prize money, Call of Duty is a serious esports title and is constantly growing. Even though a new remake of the game series is released every year, the competitive game is constantly changing as most pros have remained loyal to the game for years.

So let's take a look at what we think are the five best CoD pros of all time.

5. Jordan "Jkap" Kaplan

JKap won two World Championship titles in 2015 and 2016. He has also made it to the finals four separate times. This makes him one of the few players that have won two titles in a row. He has been active in the competitive scene since 2008 and when Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare was released he was considered one of the best players for the title. This year, on September 2, 2020, he announced his retirement and left his team OpTiC Gaming Los Angeles.

4. Seth “Scump” Abner

Although Scump has only won a single World Championship title in 2017, he is one of the most talented CoD players. He is considered to be the best SMG player in CoD and has achieved 27 tournament victories overall. He is probably best known for his time with OpTiC Gaming LA, where he won the world championship but now he plays for the Chicago Huntsmen.

3. James “Clayster” Eubanks

Clayster is one of three players with three World Championship titles (2015, 2019, and 2020), the last of which he won this year with Dallas Empire. In 2015, he even managed to secure the MVP title. His strength is his incredible adaptability in the transition from one game to the next. He is also known as a Grand Slam Champion, as he is one of the first players to win any kind of Call of Duty tournament. He is also the most successful player in Modern Warfare 2 to date.

2. Damon “Karma” Barlow

Karma was the first Call of Duty professional to win three World Championship titles (2013, 2014, and 2017), which earned him the title of "3 Rings", as each title is rewarded with a ring. In the Black Ops 2 days, he has regularly led the leaderboards and has had some incredible killstreaks. Later on, he was considered a much safer player who could always be relied on and always knew what to do. While other players like Scump or FormaL took care of the kills, Karma always delivered in the decisive situations and thus turned one game or another in favor of his team. Karma announced his retirement from the competitive scene in June 2020.

1. Ian “Crimsix” Porter

This year Crimsix is also the owner of three World Championship rings (2014, 2017 and 2020), the last of which he secured with Clayster from Dallas Empire. Crimsix started his competitive career with Halo before switching to CoD when Call of Duty 4 was released and is still considered the CoD player with the most tournament wins. In total he has collected 37 tournament wins – more than any other CoD player. He is also known for his incredible adaptability, which has allowed him to emerge as one of the best players in every version of CoD.
