Vanguard Weapon Setup Guides - Klauser

The Klauser is a sophisticated officer's pistol - and even for a sidearm, you'll find it hugely mobile in-game. Here's the best attachment setup for a Klauser.

Call of Duty: Vanguardhas launched with a ton of classic WWII guns, but for every gun, we have an astonishing amount of attachments to choose from. Seriously, Vanguard offers ten attachments slots per weapon! Where do you even begin? This is madness! Don't worry, we've got all the answers in our Vanguard weapon setup guides, And today: the Klauser.

With the Klauser you're dealing with a hugely mobile weapon, and that's true even for a pistol. It doesn't have the firepower of a Top Break or the 40-round Machine Pistol (which is probably the best sidearm in the game), but it can be great for speed. If you swap to this weapon in a round based mode like Search and Destroy then you can run very deep into the map before anyone else, swap back to your primary, and camp up.

Check out our tier ranking of every weapon in Vanguard for an idea of how well the Klauser places. In the meantime, let's talk setup...

The Klauser Attachment Setup

  • Muzzle: F8 Stabilizer
  • Barrel: Fitzherbert 200mm BL
  • Optic: Slate Reflector
  • Trigger Action: Rapid Action
  • Magazine: .45 ACP 12 Round Magazine
  • Ammo Type: Lengthened
  • Rear Grip: Stippled Grip
  • Proficiency: Brace
  • Kit: Quick

This is a slightly weak little weapon so we're beefing up the ammo and rechambering it in .45 Automatic Colt Pistol. The barrel should also help us make this a little more menacing in the range department, but besides these two, everything else is based around mobility and rapid fire.

You could swap the Slate Reflector out for something more comfortable but this is effectively the G.I. mini reflex of Vanguard - in other words, the best close-range optic in the game.

Looking for a good sidearm, maybe you need to check the Machine Pistol...

The Equipment & Perks On An Klauser Loadout

From what we've played so far, the meta loadout will look something like this:

  • Secondary Weapon: Machine Pistol
  • Lethal: Thermite
  • Tactical: Stuns
  • Perk 1: Ghost
  • Perk 2: Radar
  • Perk 3: Demolition
  • Field Upgrade: Armor Plates

The above will almost certainly be the multiplayer meta for a Klauser loadout unless they make serious balance changes. The Armor Plates in particular are in need of a nerf, but whether one comes... we'll have to wait and see.
