5. VENGEFUL SPIRIT: Venge is great for a couple of reasons. She gives extra damage and range to allied heroes, provides vision with her Wave of Terror, and can get even the most out of position hero out of danger. 4. DAZZLE: There's one really important element to playing Dazzle. Make sure you ban Axe first. Once that's out of the way, you can extend a teammate's life on more than one occasion. His Poison Touch is quite overpowered early on especially versus heroes with low armor. Healing Wave can burst enemies or save allies but his ultimate is where the fun begins. 3. LICH: Winning the lane with Lich is usually a piece of cake. Just get a couple of mangos and spam his Frost Blast. High damage and slow make it hard for most heroes to stay and fight. Frost Shield can save a teammate from certain death or you can use it offensively to initiate. His ultimate is one of the best in team fights and Sinister Gaze with Aghanim's Scepter is basically a Black Hole. (Image Credit: Valve Corporation)
2. WINTER WYVERN: Winter Wyvern's kit can be game-changing. Her ultimate usually guarantees a kill on one of the enemy heroes, and it's on a rather low cooldown. She can harass early on with Arctic Burn, which is quite annoying. Wyvern is also good versus early pushing with Splinter Blast and its long cast range. 1. MAGNUS: Perhaps you're surprised to see Magnus on the list? We didn't see much of the hero on the hard support position until recently. In fact, he's one of those heroes that can be played effectively in any position. As support, your Empower will give the carry a free Battle Fury, and that can accelerate farming by a lot. His ultimate is another threat on the list of things the enemy should be aware of. You don't really need Blink most of the time, as you're just supporting. Carrying in Dota 2 isn't easy and sometimes you can just let someone else do it while you just relax on the back seat.
