Be Gone, In The Name Of Taylor Swift! Exorcist Rescheduled After Concert Movie Announcement

Taylor Swift announces a concert movie about the Eras Tour and other moviemakers step down (as they should). Not even demons can compete and The Exorcist makes himself scarce and rescheduled the release.

They Are Never Ever Getting Back Together. It's not going to be a Love Story, but it's All Too Well. You have to just Tolerate It, demon girl. Let's make a Long Story Short: the scheduled premiere of The Exorcist: Believer has been changed. Why? Because Taylor Swift is The Man. (You want more song references? I could do it. Try me.)

With the freshly announced The Eras Tour Movie, other moviemakers made the right choice and took a step back, letting Taylor Swift have October 13 all too herself. Not even posessed demon girls can compete with Dr. Swift.

The Exorcist: Believer Gets Rescheduled

Try as you might, no one dares to compete with Mastermind Taylor Swift. As she announced the upcoming Eras Tour movie, the producer of the newest installment of The Exorcist took to Twitter.

"#TaylorWins" – also, the sky is blue and water is wet!

The Exorcist: Believer was originally scheduled to release on October 13, 2023, but the producer apparently knows that it's best to not try to win against a force of nature like Taylor Swift (or her crazy fans, myself included).

Her Eras Tour movie will hit theatres in North America on October 13 as well and Jason Blum, producer of The Exorcist, takes his demon forces to the big screen a week earlier in response. The new release date is October 6, still the spooky season.

It seems there's no Bad Blood, though: with a reference of his own, Jason Blum acknowledges the Swift hype and graciously admits the defeat with his head held high. The sooner The Exorcist hits theatres, the better, right? Just Shake It Off.

It's probably a smart choice to reschedule The Exorcist. The hype around Taylor Swift is nothing to be messed with and the exploding movie ticket presale just proves that everyone and their mother is going to be in theatres on October 13 – for Taylor and Taylor only.

As they should.
