It's been a while, but fans are ecstatic: Lupin returns to Netflix! Over two years after the release of season 2, the Netflix show comes back with a third season. We've got all the info for you!

Lupin's got it all: the thrill, drama and suspense. The story follows Assane Diop, the most charismatic thief in France inspired by the fictional character Arsène Lupin. Witty, charming and cunning, he navigates through the mysteries of Paris. Avenging his father is one thing, but what does season 3 have in store? Let's dive in!

Lupin Season 3 | Release Date

The whole release announcement has been a mystery by itself: earlier in 2023, Netflix announced that Lupin's season 3 was coming with a code to crack for puzzle fans: "310250!" The release date was some combination of these numbers and after ignoring the "2" and "3" for the year, puzzle fans were left with three possible dates: May 01, May 10 or October 05.

Turns out: Lupin season 3 hits Netflix on October 5, 2023. The date was already kind of set in stone when May came and went without Lupin, so it isn't that huge of a surprise, but still: the wait is nearly over!

Lupin Season 3 | Cast & Plot

Of course, Omar Sy will reprise his role as Assane Diop, so you can look forward to that. Some more familiar faces are back as well, such as Ludivine Sagnier as Claire and Etan Simon as Raoul.

We'll also see Antoine Gouy as Benjamin Ferel, Soufiane Guarrab as Youssef "Ganimard" Guedira, Shirine Boutella as Sogia Belkacem and Vincent Londez as Captain Romain Laugier.

Just a quick spoiler-warning: if you somehow haven't seen season 2 yet, you may want to catch up instead of scrolling further.

In season 2, Assane managed to redeem his father's name – that's all he really wanted, so what's next? Well, he's got problems of his own: police are still looking for him and he's got his next heist planned. As danger is never far, he and his family are facing some more problems back in Paris.

And here's what that'll look like – enjoy the trailer and mark your calendar for October 5!
