Bubbul Gems in Zelda: tears of the Kingdom are quite mysterious items. You will collect your first one while still being on the Great Sky Island, but the game doesn't really tell you what to do with it. These bright glowing gems will come in handy eventually, because you can use them to get cool new armour pieces. Here is where and how to trade Bubbul Gems.

How To Use Bubbul Gems In Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Bubbul Gems are dropped by the bright glowing creatures, that are often to be found on the ceiling of caves, called Bubbul Frogs. These creatures are quite harmless and won't attack you. If you find one in a cave, just shoot it with an arrow, for it to drop to the ground. It might require a few more hits, before it vanishes and leaves you with one of the precious Bubbul Gems.

But what to do with it now? If you played Zelda: Breath of the Wild, you might be familiar with the monster part collector Kilton. Back in the days, you could meet him at night and exchange your collected monster parts for really cool monster-themed items and amour pieces. Well, Kilton is back in Tears of the Kingdom, but this time he is accompanied by his older brother Koltin, who is desperately looking for Bubbul Gems.

At Koltins shop, you can trade your Bubbul Gems in for some neat items. But where to find them?

Where To Find Kilton and Koltin?

Kilton and Koltin are to be found outside the Woodland Stable, which is northeast from the Lookout Landing. If you never went there, just look up the coordinates 1127, 1207, 0021. Now just talk to them, to activate the "Hunt for Bubbul Gems" quest.
