It's been a while since we heard something about Fable, but that's all changing now: We have inside news from a developer.
A former Fable dev sat down for an interview to reveal some new inside information on the much anticipated Xbox exclusive. This is the first time we really get anything on the RPG, so... hot, hot, hot. Unless you don't like Fable, in which case you can just hand in your gamer badge and see yourself out...
Fable 2 Details Revealed
The not-so-tight-lipped developer in question is Juan Fernandez, a Spanish dev that has quite the resume: He worked on Hellblade, Hellblade 2 and Fable.

Dear Juan revealed that the new Fable will restart the series. Also, he revealed that the game would be set in an open-world, but I think everybody expected as much. If you're unsure about his qualifications - the good sir spent three years at PlayGround creating technical systems, writing documentation and researching classical Fables to understand the essence of what makes a story a... fable. Juan only left PlayGround to work on shorter projects, which he much prefers to AAA games, so this is not a disgruntled, fired employee talking smack and looking for his 15 minutes of fame.
One of the smaller projects he is now working on is Hellbalde 2, a game on which he also had a lot to say - which you can read all about right here.
In any case, what he says is enough to make us even more hyped about Fable, and it's just fableous music to our ears (sorry...).
