The Thumper is a fierce hunter, dominating the food chain. It roams the area, and when it spots you or your teammates, it charges with all its might. Its powerful arms and legs make running away difficult, but there are still some options to "defeat" the Thumper!

The Thumper's main weakness is its lack of hearing. Our best advice is therefore to hide. Here are tips for hiding from the Thumper
- Take multiple sharp turns – The Thumper is much slower running around corners than he is travelling in a straight line.
- Hit it with a shovel – You'll only need 3–4 hits to kill the Thumper. The easiest way to hit it is while it's slowed down travelling around a corner.
- Cooperate with others – Get one person to lure him towards it, while the other hits him from behind.
- Jump up to high places – The Thumper isn't able to reach high places, and it will leave you alone if you get some height.
