Those who own a PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5 will hardly be able to avoid the subscription service PlayStation Plus. Already on January 5, the three free PS Plus games will be released in January 2021 and they are an absolute highlight this time.
PS Plus January 2021: These Games Await You
After the manageable lineup in December, the three PS Plus games in January 2021 consist of absolute smash hits.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider is the crowning conclusion of the original trilogy of gaming icon Lara Croft, in which the tough adventurer has to single-handedly stop the Mayan apocalypse.
Game number two is the role-playing game GreedFall, which mixes a fantasy setting with the colonial era and is set in an alternate version of the 17th century. Both games are released for the PlayStation 4 but are also playable on the PS5 thanks to backward compatibility.
Only on Sony's next-gen console Maneater finally lets you feel what life as a shark is like. Let's be honest: We've all always wondered that, haven't we? As a shark, we fight for survival in an open game world on the southeast coast of the USA.

The new PS Plus games will be unlocked on January 5 around 12:00 PM, until then you can still get the three games from the previous month:
- Just Cause 4 (PS4, also playable on PS5)
- Rocket Arena (PS4, also playable on PS5)
- Worms Rumble (PS4 and PS5)
