It's finally Prime Day again! On October 10 and 11, Amazon users with Prime membership can get their hands on a lot of great deals. Of course, this also counts for gamers. Alongside some significantly reduced games and great deals for PS5 and Xbox, there are also always juicy discounts on PC peripherals.

In our big Amazon Prime Day Hub, we will explain exactly how Prime Day works and link you to exciting new gaming deals (which we refresh on a regular basis).

Prime Deal Days: Best Gaming Monitors On Sale

If you really want to enjoy games with amazing graphics such as Cyberpunk 2077 or Assassin's Creed Mirage then you'll probably want to upgrade your setup eventually, and that will require a new high quality gaming monitor.

Luckily for you, there are a bunch of great gaming monitors on sale during the Amazon Prime Deal Days. We've picked out a couple of gaming monitors that are great quality and won't make you break the bank.

Acer Nitro 27" WQHD

The Acer Nitro is the cheapest gaming monitor on our list at $199.99. At 27", this monitor is not too big and not too small and will perfectly fit on most desks. Here are the most important specs for you:

Screen display size27 inches
Screen resolutionWQHD (2560 x 1440)
Refresh rate180Hz (Using Display Port) – 144Hz (Using HDMI Port)
Response time1ms (G to G) - Up to 0.5ms (G to G)
Price during Prime Deal Days$199.99

The Acer Nitro offers a great quality product for its price point. With two inbuilt speakers, you won't even have to wear headphones all the time if you like to watch movies and TV shows on your computer as well.

Samsung 25" Odyssey G4

The next one on our list is the Samsung Odyssey 25" monitor for $229.99 It's slightly smaller than the previous gaming monitor and only offers FHD rather than QHD, but it has a much higher refresh rate.

Screen display size25 inches
Screen resolutionFHD ‎1920x1080
Refresh rate240 Hz
Response time1ms
Price during Prime Deal Days$229.99

At 240 Hz, this monitor pretty much hits the "sweetspot" for gaming. You won't notice much of a difference in refresh rates if you go any higher.

If you like to play fast-paced games, then this monitor will surely meet your needs.

The screen resolution is still very good and for this price you won't find any gaming monitor that can offer you both QHD and a refresh rate of 240 Hz.

LG UltraGear QHD 34-Inch

The LG UltraGear is for hardcore gamers out there that just can't get a big enough screen for their liking. This monitor comes in at just under $300 and has a massive screen size. Its massive size does lead to a slower response time, so keep that in mind.

Screen display size34 inches
Screen resolutionQHD 3440 x 1440
Refresh rate160 Hz
Response time5 ms GtG
Price during Prime Deal Days$299.99

This monitor works great if you like to have multiple tabs open at once or if you don't really enjoy having multiple monitors on your desk. At this price, you won't find many monitors this size with QHD.

The response time of 5ms isn't necessarily bad, but it can make high speed games a bit more challenging. So, depending on the types of video games you enjoy playing, this monitor might be a hit or a miss.

If none of these monitors are quite your cup of tea, don't worry, Amazon still has a bunch of other deals during the Prime Deal Days. Hurry though, the sale ends tonight! Keep in mind that these offers are only for Prime members, so if you aren't already a Prime member, try the 30-day free Amazon Prime trial.

On Amazon Prime Day, you will see a discount price on an almost endless number of products. But you shouldn't just blindly go for it! For one thing, many products are already reduced outside of Prime Day, and for another, some products are still cheaper from other retailers despite the Amazon discount. So check price comparison sites before you press the buy button.

Have a look through the offers and use the Prime Deals Day to improve your gaming setup (or start building it). Check out our Prime Day overview article for more exciting deals.
