A living zombie doll that literally rises out of a pool of blood in a super gory scene that proceeds her entrance. Bad news, you have to fight this boss as it stands over seven feet tall! 4. ROM, THE VACUOUS SPIDER – Bloodborne
Released on March 24, 2015, by FromSoftware on PS4, this spooky boss features more eyes than I am willing to count. The atmosphere is an endless space that seems to stretch on forever. If one giant space spider wasn't bad enough, you are also surrounded by dozens of large black spiders trying to also eat you while you fight the boss. (Image credit: FromSoftware, Inc.)
3. DIRGE – Shadow of the Colossus
Released on October 18, 2005, one of the coolest games and probably the best game ever made for the PS2 features a spooky boss! If you haven't played it, stop everything, and pour some time into it!
Dirge's glowing eyes are sinister and the way you fight this boss gives you a never-ending sense of doom. As you try to shoot its eyes while riding on horseback, the boss chases you, never relenting until one of you has been killed. Its size is massive but hidden under the sand. 2. PANZERMORDER – CoD WW2
Released on November 3, 2017, this game features a terrifying abomination of dead soldiers. It's is a towering monster of mutilated flesh made from heads, legs, arms, and all kinds of body parts. Are you scared yet? Well, the most harrowing part of this boss is its maw – a circle of bleeding skulls surrounds its mouth hole ready to devour you. At least you have a machine gun, right? 1. LARUA – Evil Within Us
Released on October 14, 2014 on Xbox and Playstation, this horror game has loads of scray bosses. We put Laura on the top of our list because of the place you fight her in. It's in a labyrinth of pillars that obscure your sight of her as you try and predict which corner she will attack you from.
You truly never feel a moment of ease as every turn you make could reveal this terrifying monster. Every corner is a potential jump-scare waiting to happen. We have done the top 5 spooky games and now we look at the top 5 spooky bosses that really make you question your sanity. There are probably enough scary bosses to do a top 100 but we feel entries 1 to 95 might not be as creepy as this top 5. We have a combination of some old and new bosses to creep you the F out and we considered the looks and atmosphere the bosses bring in this top 5.
