Now, I don't have much to say about planes, so I'm just going to wing it right now. If you've ever wanted to try out a different kind of flight simulator, then Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown is the game for you. Originally releasing in 2019 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC, it's now flying onto your Nintendo Switch in 2024.

Bandai Namco has confirmed that the game will be made available for the Switch this year, along with a bunch of extra content.

Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown To Release With DLC Content

Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown is an action-packed flight combat game set in a fictional world embroiled in war. Players pilot advanced fighter jets, engaging in intense aerial battles and missions. The game combines realistic flight simulation with an engaging storyline for a thrilling experience.

The Switch version is also going to include the original features from the initial 2019 release, like a 2-8 multiplayer mode. Along with this content, players can also look forward to all DLC's released along with the Season Pass. So you can get some new planes right off the bat, as well as the player missions “Unexpected Visitor”, “Anchorhead Raid” and “Ten Million Relief Plan”.

Since this game was initially only on PlayStation and Xbox, players might be worried about the graphics. Thankfully, Bandai Namco, along with a trailer, has also released a comparison between the Nintendo Switch and PS4 version. While the Switch does look a bit downgraded, it doesn't seem like it'll impact the gameplay in any way.

Ace Combat 7 Release Date

Ace Combat 7 will be released on July 11, 2024, as a digital exclusive title. But in this day and age, who even still buys physical copies of games, right? Honestly, who else is excited to become a part of the Osean Federation to battle the Kingdom of Erusea?
