In the latest Genshin Impact Version we were introduced to the mysterious Chiori. One thing is for sure that she will become a playable character and now leakers might have revealed when we can get our hands on this new Geo unit.
There are quite a few characters players are waiting for in Genshin Impact. In Version 4.4 we are finally going to be getting Cloud Retainer for Lantern Rite, and there are quite a few personalities from Fontaine that have yet to become playable characters like Arlecchino, Sigewinne and Chlorinde.
Chiori, who had been known through various voice lines, also made her appearance in the current version in the Roses and Muskets event. With Navia finally making Geo useful, players are hyped for another 5-Star Geo character and Chiori is looking to be just that. Now her release has been revealed as well as some info on her kit.
Genshin Impact Leakers Give Update On Chiori Release And Kit

Chiori is going to be a 5-Star character who is set to release in Version 4.5. According to leakers PTL and Mr. White, who have been prominent sources in the Genshin Impact community for a long time, she is going to be the only new character throughout the 4.5 Version. It has not been revealed yet whether she is going to be on the first banner of the update or the second, though.
Along with the leak of her release patch, there have also been rumors surrounding her kit. PTL has also revealed some information on her kit. It looks like she is going to be an off field support who will be able to buff Geo characters like Albedo, which is great... if you own Albedo, that is.
Her Q is going to buff the entire team. The buff will depend on the amount of crystallizes in the domain, as well as the amount of Geo constructs there are currently in place. This means characters like Navia or Noelle won't truly benefit from the buffs, since they do not create Geo constructs.
You should expect Chiori to be made available sometime in March, probably on March 11. We're going to have to wait a few more weeks for the early drip marketing HoYoverse usually puts out as well to confirm whether these leaks are true as well.
