We’re finally getting the first GTA 6 trailer in December. This was recently revealed by Rockstar and people online reacted in a way about as well-measured as you’d expect. Since the announcement, speculation has been rife about when exactly we will get this trailer.

Now, a new contestant has entered the ring: Tez2, an infamous Rockstar Games insider, claimed that we could get the trailer as early as this Friday!

GTA 6 Trailer Could Release Very Soon, Claims Insider

According to a recent tweet from Tez2, they expect the trailer to drop “either on Friday, during the weekend or on Tuesday at most”. This prediction is based on some conjecture from recent announcements regarding GTA Online (GTAO). A new event was just announced, which runs for two weeks. This is pretty unusual, as events often only last for one week in GTAO.

According to Tez, “Rockstar skipped a week” before the reveal of Red Dead Redemption 2 as well. That means that with the current event, Rockstar might be doing it again in preparation for another big reveal, like the release of the GTA 6 trailer.

If they are right, this would mean we would get the GTA 6 trailer as early as December 1 or on December 5 at the latest. How exciting! This is mostly deduction and conjecture though, Tez doesn’t seem to have any insider info. However, few people online are as well-versed in how Rockstar acts and operates, so this prediction is definitely a solid one.

I personally still think we will see GTA 6 at The Game Awards on December 7. While the game definitely doesn’t need that stage, it would make sense that Rockstar would still take the opportunity to show the game at a show that big. Maybe we’ll get a teaser beforehand and the full trailer during The Game Awards? We’ll see…

What do you think? When will we get the GTA 6 trailer? What do you expect for it? Let us know in the comments!
