15 Most Iconic Superman Villains

15. The Ultra-Humanite

The Ultra-Humanite isn’t just brains or brawn – he’s both, packed into the body of a giant albino gorilla. He’s one of Superman’s weirdest and oldest enemies, and he’s still out there trying to prove that intellect alone should rule the world. | © Warner Bros. Discovery

14. Livewire

Livewire went from trash-talking Superman on the radio to blasting him with raw electricity. Charged up after a freak accident, Leslie Willis turned her outrage into a full-on power surge, and Metropolis has been feeling the shockwaves ever since. | © Warner Bros. Discovery

13. Toyman

Don’t let the name fool you – Toyman’s creations are anything but fun and games. Behind the innocent toys and carnival colors is a broken genius who turned childhood joy into deadly weapons, and even Superman has learned to take him seriously. | © Warner Bros. Discovery

12. Silver Banshee

Silver Banshee doesn’t need Kryptonite since her magic and bone-shattering scream are more than enough to hurt Superman. Cursed and powerful, she’s a supernatural force with a grudge and a voice that can quite literally kill. | © Warner Bros. Discovery

11. Mister Mxyzptlk

Mister Mxyzptlk isn’t here to destroy Superman, he is here to mess with him, just for fun. With reality-bending magic and the attitude of a cosmic prankster, this Fifth-Dimensional imp is chaos in a bowler hat... and the only way to stop him is to outsmart him. | © Warner Bros. Discovery

10. The Parasite

The Parasite doesn’t just drain your energy – he can take your power, too. Rudy Jones went from janitor to one of Superman’s most dangerous enemies, feeding off the Man of Steel like a supercharged leech with a never-ending appetite. | © Warner Bros. Discovery

9. Lobo

Lobo is a cosmic hurricane in leather with zero morals and a lot of firepower. He once wiped out his entire species for fun, and if Superman’s in the way of a paycheck (or a good brawl), the Main Man’s coming for blood. | © Warner Bros. Discovery

8. Metallo

Metallo is part man, part machine, and all Kryptonite, literally. With Superman’s greatest weakness beating in his chest, he’s a walking nightmare powered by rage, metal, and a past he can’t outrun. | © Warner Bros. Discovery

7. Cyborg Superman

Cyborg Superman wears the S-shield, but everything else is pure spite. Born from tragedy and driven by hate, Hank Henshaw exists to tear down Superman’s legacy. | © Warner Bros. Discovery

6. Bizarro

Bizarro is Superman’s twisted mirror, well-meaning, wildly confused, and accidentally destructive. Built as a flawed clone, he’s just trying to be a hero... even if his “help” usually ends in disaster. | © Warner Bros. Discovery

5. General Zod

General Zod has everything Superman's got. Except mercy. A ruthless military tactician with the same Kryptonian powers, Zod isn’t here to save Earth, he's here to rule it. | © Warner Bros. Discovery

4. Darkseid

Darkseid is a god, and he sees Superman as the ultimate obstacle to universal control. Their clashes aren’t just battles, they’re wars between hope and domination, with Earth caught in the middle. | © Warner Bros. Discovery

3. Brainiac

Brainiac isn’t just a villain, he is a collector, and Earth is on his list. With a cold, calculating mind and a habit of shrinking cities before wiping out their worlds, he’s one of Superman’s most dangerous cosmic threats. | © Warner Bros. Discovery

2. Doomsday

Doomsday didn’t come to talk, he came to kill, and he actually did it. This unstoppable brute beat Superman to death in the streets of Metropolis, earning a permanent spot in DC history as the monster who proved even the Man of Steel can be beaten. | © Warner Bros. Discovery

1. Lex Luthor

Lex Luthor doesn’t need superpowers to be Superman’s greatest enemy, he just uses brain, ego, and a god complex the size of Metropolis. From mad scientist to billionaire manipulator, he’s spent a lifetime proving that humanity’s worst villain might also be its smartest. | © Warner Bros. Discovery
