Fortnite has once again stirred excitement in its gaming community by bringing back the Drum Gun with Update V.29.01!
This eagerly awaited return marks a significant update in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 and promises to reshape in-game strategies and combat dynamics.
Fortnite Drum Gun Stats
The Drum Gun combines the power of a rifle with the supporting fire rate of a smg, thus forming a hybrid weapon. However, the Drum Gun has a higher fire rate and inflicts slightly more damage to opponents, making it quite OP in previous seasons — especially in its mythic version.

At the moment, the weapon is available in the rarities of Rare, Epic, Legendary and now also Mythic with Midas's return.
Where To Find The Drum Gun In Fortnite
The Drum Gun is part of Fortnite's regular loot pool and can therefore be found scattered throughout the entire map. This means you can find it on the ground, in chests, supply drops, and drones at Hot Spots.
However, there are also two other ways to obtain a Drum Gun. Firstly, there are new Midas Vending Machines scattered across the map. There you can buy the rare version for 200 Gold Bars, the epic version for 300 Gold Bars, and the legendary version for 400 Gold Bars.
Midas Mythic Drum Gun
Midas Mythic Drum Gun is now in Fortnite since the new update V.29.10 was released. You can buy it by Midas on the Yacht in the west of the map. The Gun is sold for 600 gold bars.
