Weapon Cases In Fortnite Explained
Weapon Cases came to Fortnite with the start of Chapter 5 Season 1. Ultimately, the term is pretty self-explanatory. Weapon Cases are cases that can be opened to find new weapons.
Usually, these cases contain special loot rather than normal ground loot, with at least the "rare" rarity level and already equipped weapon mods. So, it's worth knowing where these Weapon Cases are, even once you've done the Cowabunga Quest.
Fortnite Weapon Cases: Where To Find
Weapon Cases in Fortnite are scattered all over the map, mainly found at the larger POIs on the island.
You'll often find several Weapon Cases in one place. Here's an overview of all the weapon case locations in Fortnite:
- Rebel's Roost
- In East and West of Doomstadt (bunker)
- In the West of The Underworld (bunker)
- Reckless Railways
- Between Cemetery & Rescue Station (bunker)
- Dumpenhausen (bunker)
- Charon's Crossing (bunker)
- In the South of The Raft (bunker)
- Reclaimed Villa
- Sandy Steppe
- The Wreckmill (bunker)Pantheon Path (bunker)
Note that most weapon cases are located in bunkers, which won't all open during a single round. However, the map will show you when a bunker is open and can be looted. Be careful not to encounter enemy players there.
