If you want to craft new weapons in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, or upgrade your existing ones, you’ll need crafting materials. A lot of them. The game is actually a bit stingy in giving them, but no worries: there are multiple ways to get them. And one surefire way to get all the materials you need. You just need to know where to look.

Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth: Best Ways To Get Crafting Materials

There are several ways to get new crafting materials. The place to look, especially in the beginning of the game, is in the trash bin. Seriously: you can pick items from trash bins and containers, and that often yields crafting materials. As you walk around Honolulu or Yokohama, make sure you pay attention and pick up some trash. One man’s trash is indeed another man’s treasure.

The absolute best way to get crafting materials, particularly Geodes and Crystals, is through the Labyrinth. This optional dungeon is available in both cities and will be unlocked through story progress.

While you make your way through the dungeon, you will collect special currencies: Robo Disks (Honolulu) and Geomijul’s Survey Data (Yokohama). At the entrance to each dungeon, you’ll find an NPC who will give you items in exchange for these currencies. This includes all kinds of materials.

If you don’t want to fight your way through the dungeon, you can also buy materials from vendors, should you have the cash for it. There is one vendor in each city that sells materials:

  • Nolan’s Boat (Honolulu): Go into the ocean at Aloha Beach and swim southward. It’s a small raft next to the high-end weapon shop.
  • General Goods Cart (Yokohama): In Hamakita Park, the northeast area of the city.

Both shops sell you fragments for $80/ ¥8,000 each. This is pretty expensive in the early parts of the game, but by the later stages you should have more than enough money. At these shops, you can also have Geodes and Crystals crafted. One Geode takes ten Fragments and one Crystal needs ten Geodes.

There are other ways to get materials, like as rewards for Sujimon battles or when you help NPCs that are being attacked on the street. However, these are slower as the methods we showed you here in this guide.
