After a long radio silence, Netflix has finally lifted the curtain: All 10 episodes of the final season will drop on April 24, 2025. So yes, Joe’s final bow is officially dated – mark your calendars, lock your doors.
Production wrapped up in August 2024, as confirmed by Penn Badgley on Instagram. Originally announced for a 2024 release, the delay makes sense – and the return to New York promises a proper finale for this twisted saga.

Season 5 brings Joe back to New York – full circle. After the chaos in London, Joe and Kate have returned to where it all began. He’s richer, darker, and fully embracing the monster he tried to hide for so long. And Kate? She’s not exactly objecting – at least until Joe starts pitching murder as a solution to her problems.
As seen in the trailer, Joe’s double life begins to unravel. The ghosts of his victims – and the people who loved them – are circling. The media catches wind. There are hints of betrayal. And at the end of the teaser, Joe seems to be drugged and captured. Is this the beginning of his reckoning?

Penn Badgley returns as Joe – no surprises there. Charlotte Ritchie will reprise her role as Kate, and the teaser hints at several familiar faces possibly returning to tie off loose ends.
