Aranna Starseeker — Aranna Starseeker

A relatively recent addition to Hearthstone's pantheon, the mischievous young Aranna is somebody that Illidan Stormrage himself sees a lot of potential into. Sir Annoy O — Sir Annoy-O

We can't talk about original Hearthstone characters without paying tribute to Sir Annoy-O, the paladin who's also a mech, and also... a clown? The Annoy-O-Trons dominated the meta for so long that they eventually got their own hero. We can't say the same about other Minion types! (Image credit: Blizzard Entertainment)

Renojackson — Reno Jackson

The Explorer who changed it all with his amazing healing power, Reno is synonymous with Hearthstone and its original story arch. Sure, he's not the first one to bravely go where no human has gone before and unearth ancient secrets (and plunder their treasures!), but what can we say – Harrison Jones walked so Reno can run! Elise Starseeker — Elise Starseeker

We can't have one Starseeker without the other. While sharing the same family name and the same role in the game, the two sisters can't be more different from one another.

Arfus — Arfus

Everybody knows Arthas, the tragic hero who sacrificed everything to save his people, got corrupted by evil magic, and eventually became the feared Lich King, one of Warcraft's most epic villains. Arch thief rafaam — Arch-Thief Rafaam

Speaking of epic villains, we have to give the crown of coolest Hearthstone original to the mystical, menacing, and on occasion – downright silly Rafaam. Hearthstone, while different in every way, is deeply rooted in Azeroth, the World of Warcraft. All of the game's default heroes and many of the legendary minions and spells are directly inspired by the epic MMO and its history and lore, but not all!

Today, we're counting some of the coolest characters that only appear in Hearthstone, living a life of their own outside of the shadow of their Warcraft peers. Here they come!
